P.S. we had a mescan and never had such a smooth one. restaurant was actually nice to sell us some of it and fill it for our trip to home on the plane. everything in all was great and will like to go back.
We were here a few times, so it was the first place we ate when we arrived in ixtapa! our favorite is the shrimp risotto! we went back to ixtapa last night to get the risotto back! beautiful ambiente!
We made a reservation because the place gets packed, lots of American and Canadian tourist, we went for breakfast and the food and service was spectacular we order different dishes to try a little bit of everything, there was not one thing that was average,...all of them were delicious, we even ordered more, food was abundant and very well priced, service was incredible, the waiters and the owner who was there made sure we were happy and perfectly taken care off. We ended up going also for dinner that same night and breakfast the following day, menu changes for dinner and again we were surprised by the food I personally had the Seared tuna with lemon caper sauce it was perfectly cooked and fresh. Congratulations to Edmond and his staff, hands down the best restaurant in Ixtapa.
Eier benedikt was very good, small portion hash brown with him, top plate was also not very significant, but it was a nice breakfast.
I hate to give this charming restaurant a bad review, especially as there are my favorite style of cuisine French Moroccan. the food quality (and even the service) really let me off (on a afternoon when I needed a revitalizing lunch.) I ordered that. huhn tagine, and while it was not terrible, there was still something that was licking with the aromen of the chicken and the broth. I could not say what it was exactly, but the season was badly executed and for the price, really, the court should have been much better. it may be that the owner in recent years has been a step back from the administration of the restaurants (that was the feeling that I got), but I think that this decision will mean the end of the restaurant, sad. No one on the staff (and perhaps no one in ixtapa) seems to take care of enough to continue to offer eclectic cuisine for tourist guests to the future.
