Smoke Shack - Ixtapa

I'm not a big rib or meatloaf fan, but the bbq chicken is great! Don't leave without a piece of carrot cake. Delicious!

Come early or many of their menu items will be sold out. We ordered their briskket melt.. they were sold out of pork ribs and chicken very early in the day. We ordered their brisket melt and it was really good. It was very soft and filling. We met the owner and he barbecued in Texas. His hometown is Manitoba. He has been in Rib Fest competitions and have earn awards. Meat is from Monterey, so it is quite good. It's not the local meat Currently, it is CASH ONLY. They are still awaiting for their credit card machine. here in Ixtapa.

We had dinner at the Smoke Shack last night and it was delicious!! The ribs were so tender the meat fell right off the bone. The pulled pork and chicken thighs were amazing too. We will definitely be back again.
