Bar Restaurante El Lago - Iznajar

Sunday lunch at El Lago can only be described as excellent. Despite all the current covid restrictions the bar seemed really busy with a great atmosphere. Christina was very helpful and attentive throughout. The food was sensibly priced and plentiful but most importantly packed with taste and flavour, the meat almost falls apart yet the vegetables retain just enough crunch and the leeks with chorizo and blue cheese is a triumph. An experienced and talented chef supported by a pleasant front of house team will always shine !

This is the place that used to be known as quatro vientos the four winds. It has now had a change of owner. I have been in a few times now and it seems to be improving. The trouble is, there are so many top quality places nearby. But I wish them the best of luck, and will keep trying it. Why not pop in and make your own mind up ?
