Mcalister's Deli - Jackson

This is my second visit to this restaurant. The first time I placed a large order around 9 or 10 in the morning and requested it to be ready between 12 and 1 o'clock. However, when I arrived, the order was not prepared and I had to wait for it to be made. On my most recent visit on April 19, 2022, they seemed to be short-staffed. I recommend calling ahead if you have a time constraint.

I waited in line with only one customer ahead of me, but was then informed by a young lady that they had stopped taking orders because the wait was 30 minutes. It would have been helpful to know this before I wasted 10 minutes of my time in line with my elderly mother-in-law waiting in the truck outside. Thank you for nothing!

The food is consistently delicious, especially the Savannah chopped salad. I recommend trying it with the peach dressing.

Usually I love mcallister and never had a problem until this week. I have big nasty, but someone forgot to engrave it. that should have been a red flag that would go south. because someone else worked with me, I was only in agreement with it. Well, I started eating at sandwich, tasted funny, so I didn't eat it all, instead of throwing it away, and ate my potato salad. not long after I started getting sick, I was 3 hours at work and tried not to throw. well low and I am home and it was as if the fluttore were opened, I was violently ill for 2 days with food poisoning. it was bad, I don't know what was not cooked directly or from the date, but someone could want to check their stock.

It took nearly 30 minutes to receive an order that I placed online. The food was fine but there were a lot of unhappy people there. This is not the first time this has happened.
