The Dirty Bird - Jackson

Stopped in for the first time a few weeks ago. Got the Buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings. Chicken was crispy and moist, buffalo sauce added just the right amount of heat. Onion rings were crispy and delicious paired with the dirty bird sauce. Tap list was extensive and available on-line which I prefer over relying on staff memory, especially with a selection this size. Service was top notch and the patio is perfect seating on a nice day.

Just wish the kitchen stayed open later but the place is great

Not really into the sports bar aesthetic but I like their food. I suggest the shrimp sandwich, the mild wings or the chicken strips.

Food was good but service was consistently bad. It was a Wed evening and only half full at most. First we waited 6-7 minutes for them to bus a table and then another 12 minutes for the waitress to first appear at our table. It was more-or-less like that all night. We liked the vibe although not quite as nice in person as the photos made it look. Would have given a 4 if the service was better. Maybe we just got unlucky? BTW the chicken pot pie was good (not great) and chicken fingers were a 4 of 5. Pretty good drink menu on the scrolling screen behind the bar.

We decided to try something new. I like wings so I was pleasantly surprised by the many choices for sauce. My husband ordered a Mac and cheese with chicken on top. Both were excellent. It was a rainy day so we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor dining option (our favorite) but we hope to return soon.
