Posados Cafe - Jacksonville

My wife and I both had the Cancun (picture). I'm sorry, I had to taste before it made the picture! Why only 4 instead of 5? The only complaint we had was the bread in Chili Relleno a little thick in the ground and was not completely cooked.

Service was good. The server seemed a little busy with a big party, but the manager helped out what was nice to see. In fact, the service was good, but the food was definitely subpar. My 14 yr put it very succinctly when he said it tasted like Mexican food for old white people. Very little taste, not near enough to season on something, and only general Bland meal. Let me be clear; it was not bad, but nowhere near well. If you are looking at the Cinco De Mayo, this is your place if you make good Tex sex the trip to Tyler and go to Javi's or Mexico Lindo.

Everything is good buffet here just wish that they change the taste of tacos meat, it is not so good to be honest otherwise to eat a great place!

Absolutely the worst restaurant I ever had! I remember when they opened it was decent. Now management and chefs etc. everything is grounded. The green salsa was like water with green lining coloring. My granddiladas with Queen was disgusting. I ruined my dad and I. Sunday dinner and had stomach problems the rest of the day! I never come back!

My daughter and I stopped in for a wonderful lunch today and the house Margaritas. The food did not disappoint at all, it was great. The atmosphere was cozy. Our server, Emily, was the best server ever!!! She was so on top of everything, never letting us go empty of anything. She notices our salsa is half gone and boom, there she is with another bowl....your drinks won't go dry either, she notices and asks if you'd like another before you get too low. Outstanding service, couldn't ask for anything better. It is so refreshing to have such great sevice, it's been a very long time, if ever, that we had anyone take that good of care of us. She never kept us waiting for anything and we never needed to flag her down. We will be back frequently now.
