Captain D's - Jacksonville

The staff was fast and friendly. The food was good and the portions were generous.

I visited this restaurant's drive-thru last night after 7:30 PM, and I usually don't have any complaints. Unfortunately, my experience this time was quite disappointing. The food I received felt like a complete waste. I wish I could share my feelings more widely. I ordered a three-piece fish dinner with double fries, but what I thought was fish didn’t taste like it at all. It had the flavor of poorly seasoned batter instead. I'm really sorry and feel like I wasted my money. It seems like the food relies heavily on MSG just to have some flavor and appeal to customers. There must be better options out there than Captain D’s in general.

The food was enjoyable overall. However, the chicken tenders were quite salty. On the other hand, the shrimp and fish were both tasty. I ordered the sampler.

The girl at the drive thru window be having an attitude the last couple of times i went here,somebody please go take that young lady a snicker, poor thing lookd very hungry &like she dont like they food or even being there...

The food was cooked fresh. Restaurant was clean. Service was good. There was a woman who came in begging for food.
