We were there for happy hour on Saturday in the bar area. Ron approached us with such a friendly attitude giving us the best suggestions. There was also a second server in the bar area so we were always taken care of. All the food was delicious especially the Prime rib sliders! Ron made it a 10/10!
We were looking for a new place to celebrate our anniversary and found Chart house. Fun ambiance with lively music, neat architecture, and menu options. We were not disappointed. Each table has a river view. Staff were super nice. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Wifey had the salmon and I the prime rib. Very little came home is was so good. Had an enjoyable walk in the waterfront afterwards. Great date place!!!
My goodness, this place was AMAZING! The service was awesome. Dylan was our server and he was well versed on the menu, offering a few of his favorites from different parts of the menu. He was so attentive, patient and quick on his feet. We started with half a dozen oysters from VA which were good, the Kim chee calamari (the best calamari I’ve ever eaten), and the coconut crunchy shrimp which came with 3 different sauces. We then had the kale Brussels sprouts salad after which was also pretty delicious. For entrees, I had the lemon herb crusted salmon pure perfection in texture, flavor, taste, and temperature! It came with mashed potatoes and chives. My partner had the coconut crunchy shrimp with mango sticky rice and my father in law had the snapper highway which was Parmesan encrusted. All of the food was so good, I didn’t even get any photos of appetizers or dinner, just dessert. For dessert, we all split the hot chocolate lava cake. My God, it wasn’t needed after all that food, but not a crumb was left! It was so good!!! Chocolate is my favorite and this dessert was the perfect blend of crunch, firm and moist. It was hot, and it was a great way to end the evening. Two espressos were enjoyed with dessert. I had one glass of wine while my bf and father in law had mocktails (zero proof menu) and we shared 2 bottles of San Pellegrino. We spent around $250 before gratuity. Everything was paced out well! We were there for 3 hours but it felt like 1.5 hours. This was the perfect spot to go to when you have nothing else pressing for the night and just want to enjoy great company, great food, service and ambiance. It was THE ULTIMATE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Update: returned a week later and had the prime rib and lobster bisque soup! Delicious!
We had a birthday dinner there for my younger sister. It was very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in the door, as if we weren't supposed to be there. The waiter was new it was the first time eating there for many of us, so everyone was confused just ordered the best we could. My older sister had a hair in her soup when we brought it to the waiter's attention, he politely said if I may be honest, it looks a lot like your hair, ma'am. The soup was eventually replaced after having to exchange words with him. My shrimp pasta tasted like chicken noodle soup. I'm not sure if I'd visit there again because that was $82 worth of confusion, but the guest of honor was happy, so that's all that mattered.
