Other restaurants are having similar deals and I'm sure they are getting the business. It wasn't nearly as busy as it had been in the past. I really wish they would bring it back. The food was delicious though. The only problem we had was that the waiter somehow put the tables food next to us on our bill so at first it was really high and we had to have it adjusted.
I went with some friends Friday night, one of the busiest nights. We had a table in 15 minutes which was great. The waiter was amazing. He kept our drinks refilled and made sure we had plenty of napkins and kept the table clear of empty plates. I have previously tried the big mouth bites and they were great, very filling and alot of food for the price. When you sign up for their e-mail club, you get an e-mail for a free dessert. A great place to relax and catch up with family or friends and have some great food also. I highly reccommend them.
I love that they are doing the 2 for $20 deal. Plus it comes with dessert. We went to eat on Friday night and barely waited 5 minutes before we were seated. Our server was so sweet and on top of everything. We ordered the chips and queso as our appetizer and it was delicious. They did change the tortilla chips and I'm still not sure if I like them. I liked the other ones a lot better. My husband and I both had the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. I loved it!!! I think it might be my new favorite menu item. It's so good! Then we ordered the sweet shots. You get three little shots of dessert. It's the perfect amount. Plus it worked out since we had three people and that way we all got some. I had the red velvet and it was ok. The icing was a little too sweet for me. My husband had the cinnamon bun and it was nice and warm. My mom had the chocolate fudge brownie. I think that was everyone’s favorite. It was warm and gooey!! So good and what a good deal.
My mom and I stopped here after shopping one night for dinner for some yummy queso dip and Philly cheese steaks. The dip was delicious as always but the cheese steaks came out burnt. We sent them back and a few minutes later the manager came to our table and told us that's the way they sandwiches came. Burnt. We were rolled. We thought it was a joke but they were all dead serious. So if you’re ever in Oak leaf, pass on Chili's unless you want to be told your food is supposed to be burnt to a crisp.
