All orders are made fresh and you can order as mild or as hot as you like. It's perfect for a quiet date night with your spouse. The food is delicious and it's the perfect atmosphere.
Wow, this is just delicious food. Period. Jimmy P. Introduced me to this Indian restaurant and he is so right, the taste, flavors, everything so right! We went about an hour after they opened on a Sunday and the buffet was just great, huge selection, so many different dishes, 3 different types of rice!! The food was fresh and plentiful, I loved being able to try so many things to see what I would like I don't know much about Indian food) and great price at $10 per person all you can eat. Also the nan bread they served was sooooo good! Light fluffy, I want to go back thinking about it!
Food: 5 Service: 4.5 Ambience: 5 Date/Time: 12/15/2015 1:30pm This restaurant offered a lunch buffet with a good selection of Indian cuisine. The service was good and they kept the buffet stocked pretty well. The hostess was a little on the serious side but still helpful when asked about an item on the buffet. The seating area was very nice, clean and moderately decorated. It looked to be an older building but they cleaned it up pretty good. The food....awesome! The Tikka Masala was VERY good. I tried items I hadn't tried before and liked everything. Forgot their names but I liked them : Naan was served to your table separately and if I had anything outside of awesome to say about the food, I'd say the naan was a little more bready (is that a word? and dry than I've had in other restaurants. Highly recommended!
India house is quickly becoming one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Jacksonville. I really like two others as well and all happen to be on Baymeadows. India House is a little different though. There are a few TV's but no massive screens that take up the wall so it feels a little more quaint. I love Indian music videos but other times I also want to have a conversation. The decor is nice, a tad dated but honestly I kind of like it. The service is great. I have never had a wait and am greeted within a moment of walking in the door. After you are given your menus, you are brought water and a little snack. The waiters have been very friendly and kind. The food is excellent! I am a lamb lover so I get lamb dishes and theirs is always incredibly tender and scrumptious: The naan is good. I really like their garlic coriander naan and I think it has become my favorite Naan in Jax. Once you are done they are great about giving you boxes to take extras home. They then bring you a warm towel to wipe your hands (nice touch Overall they have great food, great service, great prices and are conveniently located. I will definitely be back for more!!!
Came here for dinner with a friend of mine last night. Pretty quiet atmosphere. Started with the veggie samosas, nothing special with that app. The entrees were outstanding. The chicken biryani and chicken vidaloo (may have misspelled this). Amazing taste and kept eating until the last bite. Had some garlic naan to go with it! We ended the evening with some sugar balls on the house (gulab). Fairly priced and highly recommended for dinner!
