Olive Tree Mediterranean Grill

This restaurant doesn't have fancy decor or table service, but the food is delicious. The lentil soup, kibbeh, tabbouleh, hummus were all fresh, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. The felafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the spinach pies were exactly how I like them - slightly lemony. I don't visit JAX often, but I wish I could come here more frequently.

The biggest disappointment was the gyros. A good Mediterranean restaurant should never serve pre-sliced gyros; it should be freshly cut off the spit. This is a major factor in why the restaurant is not rated higher. The pre-sliced gyros are not only pre-made, but they are also lacking in taste and quality. If the restaurant continues to serve pre-sliced, pre-made, pre-frozen gyros, they should consider finding a higher quality vendor, as there are many available. If you are looking for a quick lunch with great service, this restaurant may be a good option. However, if you are a fan of gyros and falafel, I would recommend trying it out for yourself to form your own opinion.

This charming restaurant offers a family-friendly atmosphere and delicious, flavorful dishes, including healthy options. The staff is very friendly and we were served promptly. The chicken gyro, chicken shwarma, and side of falafel were all excellent choices.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was delicious, especially the falafel sandwich! The employees were super friendly and helpful.

This is a restaurant where you order your food and drinks at the counter. Our attendant was nice and knowledgeable about the food. The food itself was very salty and garlicky. I love garlic, and I thought it was too garlicky. Our attendant came to the table a couple of times to see if we needed anything and that was nice, but I don’t thought it pricey for a self serve restaurant.
