Panera Bread - Jacksonville

It must be a joke. Does Panera look at these reviews? This is the most beautiful place ever. I had no choice but to stop and roast her? a bagel for me, which was hard like a rock and a stale. And everyone was rude (I honestly don't blame them, who would want to work there? Tip is empty and says? Tips are not necessary but appreciated? I'm sure the employees didn't write that. Maybe if you pay your employees and don't let them work in a shutdown building that has garbage all over the ground and stuffing food, they would have a smile on their faces. Typical Florida.

Arrested today for one of my favorite bagels? Cinnamon Crunch roasted with butter? Yummy yummy along with a glass Passion Papaya Green Iced Tea. A nice refreshing drink to start the day without caffeine. If you like caffeine, they have these new loaded lemonades that are delicious and are loaded with plant-based sour caffeine from Guarana and green coffee extract. I tried them all and they're all very tasty. The Mango Yuzu Citrus is my favorite? They're all very good.

Panera used to be good, but they made themselves ridiculous how much money they squeeze from customers. One, they increased prices. Ten dollars for a lunch bowl of soup? Okay, that's good for Panera quality. But I get the soup and it's such a small part. Much smaller than before. It wasn't even a spoon deep (see pictures). Plus the taste was really nothing to brag, it is now the same quality as can soup. Do not go to Panera, it is no longer worth eating can soup.

There are a few areas that could use improvement. First, the background music—currently a mix of jazz and soft tunes—could be toned down. It’s quite hard to savor a decent salad when Michael Bublé is blaring in the background. Additionally, the internet service here is really poor; you can expect to be disconnected every five minutes, which is surprising given how many customers must feel frustrated by this. On a positive note, the ordering kiosks have finally been repaired after a long delay. However, now the pagers are not working, so when your order is ready, someone from the kitchen has to shout out your name. While they're trying to improve the process, it still doesn't quite meet the standards of good customer service—it's a stale situation all around.
