Yamato - Jacksonville

The food here is fantastic! You won't find fresher dishes anywhere else, even if you're right on the beach.

This place is quite decent. I tried their combination Yakisoba and shrimp Tempura sushi roll, and it was pretty good.

The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The prices were reasonable. The Fried Superman roll did not disappoint; it was delicious. I also tried a Steak and Chicken Hibachi combination for evaluation purposes. They used high-quality meat, and the cooking was spot-on. However, I found the sauce a bit too sweet for my taste. It wasn't bad, but it could be better. The rice was decent, but not particularly noteworthy; I've had better elsewhere. If you're craving a good roll, I recommend sticking to the Fried Superman.

Mother's Day. It was wonderful. The atmosphere, food, servers and cash registers all made a perfect experience. I've never been, but now that I'm back!

We go to Yomato a few times a year and its always pretty good! Today we had hibachi and sushi. Chicken hibachi, steak hibachi and crunch roll were all good! I always get extra eel sauce and spicy mayo for dipping, which makes it extra awesome to me. The waitress, hostess and bartender were all great. They were short staffed, which the hostess let us know right away. We had to wait about 20 mins for our table for two, but we just sat in the bar are and had a few drinks, that were great! Husband loved the Japanese beer. We will be back because we enjoy it every time!
