First Perk Coffee House - Jaffray

So glad we stopped here on our travels! Great coffee selection, good food, service was very friendly & fun interior. We stopped for breakfast but there are lunch items on the menu & desserts as well. Something for everyone. Not the cheapest but very good & worth stopping! If you are travelling east to west signage is very well marked, however travelling west to east if you miss the first right turn (just after a small blue coffee shop sign) you have to turn around further up to get to it. The owner mentioned that he was looking into getting better signage from that side.

Great little town coffee house to stop when traveling this highway. Real hands on support. Food was always tasty and freshly made. Coffee excellent. Very positive friendly atmosphere. Bit rustic looking with character. Located just off the highway. Lots of parking.

The food at this restaurant is tasty, though the preparation can be a bit slow. Overall, it is good. However, my biggest issue with this place is the noise level. It is extremely loud.

pleasant surprise with its cozy atmosphere and delicious menu. We were greeted warmly by the staff and enjoyed a tasty meal before hitting the road again. The coffee was excellent and we left feeling satisfied and ready to continue our journey. We will definitely be making another stop here on our next trip through Cranbrook!

Mixed feelings - I appreciate the atmosphere and the emphasis on local ingredients, but I am disappointed by the high prices and the quality of the food.
