We definetly over ordered, the servings were very generous, but we were happily able to take our leftovers home. I definetly think you need to try the mint and lemon juice. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert, but we now know to leave room for next time. The only down side is that it can get very noisy in the restaurant, but that's too be expected as it is a very popular restaurant.
The best value for money, best tasting food, friendly service, super good takeaway prices. If you have not been here yet you are missing out. At busy times park in street, as there are many other businesses in the complex. Have been here many times and seldom had to wait at busy times (packed out) more than a few minutes to get a table. Try the lemon and mint drink, and mixed plate. I am not linked to this business in any way.
This Restaurant never ceases to amaze me, alway fresh, tasty authentic Lebanese food , friendly staff and quick service.
Someone once said to me "There are no good restaurants in Penrith" and my response was "You're just not looking hard enough."When in the mood for a Lebanese feast I used to head to Parramatta, until Al Aseel opened in Penrith. On our most recent visit, we walked in on a Saturday night and although the place was packed, we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Staff were quick to bring us drinks and take our order of Rahib batenjan, Arnabeet and a lamb mixed plate (with tabouli, baba ghanouj, hommus, falafel & garlic dip). The pickled vegies on the table are lovely to snack on while you wait and the Lebanese bread is deliciously soft. Our food came fast and was delicious as always. I have to order the Arnabeet every time I visit, I'm consistently amazed at how they make cauliflower taste so good. The lamb is incredibly tender and bursting with flavour and the garlic dip is the perfect accompaniment. On this visit the only area for improvement was the lack of offer of water. In my opinion, perfect service includes the pouring of fresh water as soon as you are seated, but I had to request they bring us some as we were eating our mains. Delectable dinner for two with wine and beer for under $75.
Recently stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for somewhere different to take my wife out for her birthday and after reading the online reviews decided to go and check it out....... best decision I have ever made, has to be the best Lebanese restaurant I have ever gone to where the food was authentic and very flavoursome. We sampled a number of dishes as all the food on the menu sounded very tempting and ended up coming home with a few containers of leftovers which were just as good when heated up the following day. Service was first class as was the food and have recently made a group booking here for August for my whole family, I never thought I would find such a great place out in the Western suburbs of Sydney but am so glad I did!
