Sandees Thai Fusion - Janesville

My favorite restaurant in Janesville. Fantastic SE Asian fare, good prices, great atmosphere. My wife and I went there for our anniversary and they surprised is with a happy anniversary treat. The owner came out of the back and wished us a happy anniversary, as well. Loved the personal touch!

This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. If you enjoy spicy dishes but are unsure about how hot it might be, I recommend starting with level 3. The Panang curry is more soup-like than a thick curry sauce, but the flavor is excellent, and we really enjoyed it. I apologize for forgetting to take a picture of the Panang curry!

I can't believe I've never left a review for Sandees. The menu keeps getting better and better. The curry, Tom kha, and pad ke Mao have always been my go-tos and they are addictively delicious. Since she added sushi, I pretty much am in heaven. But, okay...I recently had the kow soi curry noodle soup and I can't stop thinking about it. Also, drinks, ambiance, and service are excellent.

This place is fantastic! We were seated right away at 5 PM on a Saturday before Mother's Day, which was a pleasant surprise. The moment we walked in, the aroma was absolutely amazing. The portion sizes were generous; we paid $13 per plate and definitely got our money's worth, as we took half of our meals home with us. Our server was incredibly friendly. When I inquired about the spice level of the dishes, she recommended starting with a light spice, mentioning we could request extra spice on the side if needed. However, we didn't need it; the flavor was just right. We'll definitely be returning!

This restaurant is a must-visit. The service was fantastic, and the food exceeded my expectations. The quality of the dishes was exceptionally high. I also enjoyed an amazing drink—a Raspberry Mule. I sampled several items from the menu, and I can't wait to return. I'm looking forward to bringing my friends here next time!
