It took 27 minutes to get my latte and 40 minutes to get my mushroom crepe that was missing it's cheese. I've got absolutely nothing to say about this cafe except that it was **** and I will never go back.
We attended this cafe to grab a coffee before catching the train into the city. There was only one person working behind the counter and three patrons. We approached the counter to order take away, where we waited and waited and waited.... not even for service, but for the barista to simply to acknowledge us. We waited for at least 5 minutes at the counter, and at not one point did the man behind the counter even bother looking at us. Finally fed up with being so disrespected, we left and went to the cafe four doors down, where we had a completely different experience, being greeted at the door with a friendly smile, despite there being more than 10 patrons and a much busier atmosphere. Having worked in both retail and hospitality, I completely understand being highly busy, especially with no help, but a simple smile and a “I’ll be right with you” is all you need for good customer service. Certainly won’t be visiting this cafe again.
Had a delicious breakfast, crepes were so light very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is delightful. Reasonably priced. Great location, handy to train station and street parking.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! I ordered a bacon and egg roll and it was delicious, although there was probably too much bacon. My server, Emily, was lovely and very helpful when I was indecisive about my order. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Had a lovely dinner here with the family. Lovely family owned restaurant. Simple menu for dinner with just enough choice only savoury or sweet crepes! But they are to die for give it a try! Make sure you call in to book a table they are open Thursday Friday nights but on reservation only.
