Grill Courtepaille - Jasseron

We stayed at the adjoining Ibis hotel for one night on our way home from holiday. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the restaurant. We had a lovely meal and the service from Frederique was excellent. Even though we were at the side of the motorway we were unable to hear the traffic and just relaxed watching the swan on the nearby pond.

Long wait (one full hour) for food really... On the way to Paris we stopped there and we took two menu's of 14,4€ each. OK it was 15:00 but it took one full hour for an entry and a main dish. My colleague took a fruit salad and after the 2nd remind it took further 10 minute for a frozen fruit salad. Ambiance furthermore was uncomfortable like feeling guilty for having asked lunch so late... Next time a pre-prepared sandwich on the near shop will be the only possible solution

The meal was excellent. We shared the cold meat/rillette platter and it was too much for the 2 of us. I had veal chop and my husband had the rump steak. Both were cooked as we had asked for.

Si vous en avez l'occasion, sortez de l'autoroute et allez manger dans un restaurant correct. Soit vous achetez de l'industriel rechauffé pour aller vite à la pseudo boulangerie, soit cous allez à courtepaille:- dejà vous attendez 1/2 heure pour qu'in vous installe alors qu'il y a plein de tables dispos dans le restau - problème de management des équipes. Bref à fuir

Service assez long malgré que l on se soit arrêter vers 15 h des produits simple mais assiette assez généreuse ....
