Feedback gevenWe usually prefer to go to the Jefferson City Chili since it's closer, but I've noticed that the service at the Columbia location is significantly better. Dining at the Jefferson City branch wasn't very satisfying, but I did notice a marked improvement in the quality of the food we had last night. I ordered the Cajun pasta, and the chicken was beautifully cooked—moist and tender.
After waiting 20 minutes just to order drinks, we received only half of them, with the rest arriving 30 minutes later. It wasn't until 7:54 PM that we finally got silverware and our hot food. The waitress was very friendly, but by the time we were ready to eat at 8:05 PM, it took until 8:45 PM for them to serve us the last dish. In total, we waited from 5:45 PM to 8:50 PM for a meal, which completely derailed our plans for the rest of the night. I appreciate that they at least served us, but this experience was very disappointing.
After checking the order in our car to ensure everything was correct, she realized there was an item missing and had to return to the restaurant, leaving the parking lot around 7:07 PM. When we finally got home, we discovered that the only item that was warm was the steamed broccoli; everything else was cold.
I went to the reception and thought I had to tell someone up there that I wanted to make one order. I stood there for fifteen minutes with six other people and chased someone. then I sat under the sign for ten minutes before someone told me I was in the wrong place. the person at 1:00 clock was very discouraged. she made me repeat three times mg order, with a dress on her face all the time. she did not believe me when I said that the salsa was missing; I pointed it out on the menu and she still confirmed it with the cook as she could not read. there was also a hole in my pocket of chips that I just caught in time before they stagnated.
Chili's Jefferson City Mo..Total lack of service, Just had to walk out!Was seated at the bar with only two other patrons present. Sat and waited to be greeted but no one ever came. Three or four employees stood in the entry to the kitchen and continued to have personal conversations about there children all while being aware of my lack of service i assume. After 11 or 12 minutes, still no acknowledgement, I went to the hostess station and asked if any one was going to wait on me and that I would like to speak with the manager. Another 4-5 minutes passed and finally the manager came and apologized. She agreed that my wait was unacceptable. Nothing more than a simple apology from her was given.That was the final straw, and I was out of time to be able to enjoy a lunch.I consider my time valuable as most do. I also would have enjoyed better use of my time designated for my lunch break. I was left with no time to eat lunch today due to the 15 or more minutes it took to get someone to finally acknowledge me being in the restaurant.Very Disappointed and still hungry!1252pm 09/06/2022Geoff G.
