Kitt's Kornbread Sandwich And Pie

Saturday 11:30 am, the doors about to open and a line has formed waiting. That’s a pretty good sign, I’d say. We got in line at just the right time to make the 1st round of seating. It filled up fast. Wow, the best chicken and dumplings on a chilly day with their famous cornbread. Also shared an “Irish” with my wife. Deli sliced corn beef and Swiss cheese and tomato on a jalapeño cornbread sandwich. What a beautiful combination. Also purchased a whole pie to go for an event the next day, coconut buttermilk. oooh so yummy!

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good, unique food. We enjoyed our cornbread sandwiches and sides of broccoli salad and chicken and dumplings. Service was pretty quick, even though the diner filled up with guests right at opening. The key lime pie was tart and tasty.

A unique take on a sandwich. Worth going to to try it out. Service was great. Price was right. I would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Kitt's. The cornbread sandwich was different but good. There is a limited menu, but should be something for everyone, and the pie was great.

Order the REDNECK!!!! OMG that sandwich is to die for. Fried bologna cheese, mayo, onions and lettuce. Plus brought back awesome memories of when my dad and I would go to a little place in Ft. Worth, TX for fried bologna sandwiches. Life is good!
