The guy working drive thru, white guy with tattoos, didn’t get a name, was one of the rudest people i’ve ever encountered. It was pouring rain and we couldn’t understand him at the drive thru so we pulled up and asked if it was okay if we ordered at the window because we couldn’t hear anything and he replied rudely “well i guess there’s nothing we can do about it now … then we had ordered our food with extra gravy and a combo meal. and we know we got a combo meal because he asked what drink with it and had even gave it to us. he rudely handed us the bag and when we realized we were missing the gravy and fries we told the man and he says we didn’t get a combo, when we clearly did. then we asked, what about the gravy. his response was just “i can charge you for it” which is fine but we asked for it in the beginning and he just responded to our question as if we didn’t even order it .. it’s fine if he didn’t understand or didn’t hear us but he was just so rude about the whole situation and was not helpful at all.
First and LAST time at this location. I always go to Middletown and will drive further in future to patron that location. It took forever to get food. At this LOCATION CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING EXTRA!! Middletown does not!! .89 cents for a small sauce pack. Instead of the gravy, I got a ranch and they gave me a containerr half the size of the the gravy. I said don't you get two? Charge extra. For whip cream and nuts. These people this location are greedy!!!!
The absolute worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. Started off with 14 cars in the drive thru (the new normal for fast food). So 25 minutes later I get to the speaker and the worker starts off with “just to let you know we are out of forks, spoons, knifes, napkins, and coke.” I place my order and wait the 10 minutes more to the window. Where I realized I’ve forgotten to get a drink with my food. So when I get to the window I ask for a large sweet tea. They inform me “ they are not allowed to add anything at the window”. So I asked if I could at least get a cup of water. So the guy hands me a kids cup full to the brim with ice and a thimble amount of water in the cup and my food. Clearly a lack of management/training issue coupled with people who just don’t care and don’t want to work. I truly don’t understand how a Chick-fl-a can have a drive-thru around the parking lot twice and out to the road and you in and out with all you need in 10 mins, and these others places can’t handle a small breakfast rush.
This DQ serves bricks n gravy instead of biscuits. Glad I tried to cut them with a knife first. It's bad when you can't cut a biscuit with a steak knife. Very lousy/lazy mgmt.
We get blizzards here 2-3 x/ month... the service and food has improved a lot in the last several months, friendly cashiers, excellent blizzards... only one we ate burgers and fries and it was delicious... looking forward to next trip
