Torchy's Tacos - Jeffersonville

Setting aside the temperature issue, the flavors were also off. I ordered a special and a breakfast taco, and while the breakfast taco was slightly better, neither was particularly impressive. Everything was falling apart, likely due to sitting out for so long. I couldn’t even finish my two tacos, which is something I've never said before. A friend from Texas recommended this place to me, but either Texas has a higher standard for tacos, or he hasn't had authentic tacos before. I’ve enjoyed some amazing tacos from a street cart in Texas, so I’m not sure what went wrong here. While everyone can have an off day, it seems that cold, flavorless food is a recurring issue according to other reviews. I even have taco socks that I wear every Tuesday for taco day, but Torchy's definitely didn't earn the honor of wearing them. Altogether, the two tolls from Kentucky, the gas, and $14 for two tacos totaled over $20 and an hour of my time that I won’t get back. I did give one star for the friendly staff and another for the pleasant location. The three remaining stars were deducted for the food temperature, lack of flavor, and high price.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful, explaining the menu and how everything works. I tried the monthly special taco and swapped the coconut shrimp for chicken tenders; it was fantastic! The top-shelf Margarita with a floater shot was delicious! There's plenty of parking available, and the atmosphere is nice. They also have local and national sports playing on the TVs at the bar. I plan to return soon for another visit. Great vibe!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. To really feel full, you'll need to order at least two tacos. There are no combo meals, so everything must be ordered separately. Additionally, they don’t offer bottled water.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices. I placed a pickup order, and it was ready just as I arrived—everything was prepared exactly as I requested, with no mistakes. The service was quick, and the tacos were the best I've ever tasted. I will definitely be returning for more! My dad and I tried the Ace of Spades taco from the secret menu, which is a great deal at only $6.25 each—such a good value for the portion size. The rice and beans were also excellent, and my family really enjoyed the hillbilly queso and avocado salsa.

My husband and I were eager to explore something new for our date night, but after spending $40, we left feeling hungry. I ordered the chicken and beef fajita tacos, but they were so greasy and falling apart that I couldn't even pick them up. The bottom of my basket was just a pool of liquid. We definitely felt that it wasn't worth the price.
