This was a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous wooden furniture and a view of Mount Hallasan from the window. We had the Perilla seed soup with hand cut buckwheat noodles and also ordered the buchin (Korean pancakes). I would recommend both things. The soup was mild and comforting and the noodles were wonderfully chewy. The pancakes were terrific too, and the portions were quite big I think we got 10 pancakes.
Traditional korean food in a beautiful tea house. I had the bibimbab which was delicious and the sides were good as well.
We had a great culinary experience at Dasoni. Guests should take off their shoes when entering the restaurant. No fish was on the menu. There are six dishes to choose from, we ordered: Bibimbap (KRW9,000) Deulkkae sujebi (KRW9,000) Dotori muchim (cold dish)(KRW10,000 13,000) Buchim (KRW6,000) We said at the start that we are vegan, so they took out one kimchi side dish. All the rest was vegan. We got all of our food within five minutes of ordering, which was great for us hungry souls. The food was very good, the interior design calm and peaceful, the atmosphere very pleasant, with beautiful background music. The wooden tables are magnificent. It feels like a luxurious temple setting. We definitely recommend Dasoni. Updated from previous review on 2022 12 16
Had an amazing meal here. Vegan options are very well done and thoughtfully curated. Had the bibimbap which was top drawer with a unique and memorable flavour. Sides were also great. Place has a cozy and authentic set up as well. Place to go for a vegan Korean meal in Jeju.
