Bernie's - Jenkintown

We arrived only to find out that our reservation had been canceled because they closed at 6:30 PM, and we received no prior notice. The staff was very rude about the situation. When I called the manager, he was even more disrespectful. Overall, it was a terrible experience that makes me reluctant to return.

This is a fantastic spot for delicious food, excellent drinks, and top-notch service.

Last Sunday, the reception staff gave the impression that they didn't care. They might be overworked or undertrained. It took far too long to get a mimosa or any drinks—over 15 minutes for a simple drink order. We plan to give it another try in a year since Bernie's on Highland Ave is conveniently close to home.

They had zero clean eating utensils. And handed out the smallest, flimsiest, plastic fork and knife. That made keeping the food on the fork nearly impossible.
