Bangkok Palace - Jennings Lodge

Walked here and tried to open the door at 7:19pm and it’s locked… Online and door says it closes at 8 and there are still many patrons inside on a Friday night… don’t know if the food is good but really?

To be honest, I was originally planning on going to the Vietnamese restaurant around the corner, but I didn’t have the patience to wait in line. So I came to Bangkok Palace instead. I’m very glad that I did. Excellent Pad Thai and a nice local IPA were accompanied by friendly service.

We stopped here for lunch as we stayed at the AC Marriott across the corner. The menu had a good variety. We ordered vegetarian items (Basil fried rice, tofu green curry, eggplant curry and Pad Thai noodles). Everything was made perfectly to our taste and spice level. The food was simply awesome. We ordered our food at the check-in desk and paid for it before service. That saved us time and we were able to reach hotel in time for our check-out. Great appetizers and thai entrees, to go oe dine in, absolutely delicious, very helpful staff.
