Cubo - Jennings Lodge

Wow, this was as good as people say. Cute little place located on Hawthorne street right near all the shopping. I loved all the colors and decorations, it felt like you were transported to a diner in cube (I think, I've never actually been there). There was plenty ofnplaces to sit outdoors and the food was appropriately priced for the servings. I had the Cuban sandwich and a mango smoothie which was great in the summer heat. Came here for lunch and got the Havana bowl. It was SO good — the pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned and I liked having the variety of both tostones and maduros. My partner got the Pan Con Pollo and let out an audible “whoa” after his first bite. Highly recommend- I'll be back the next time I'm in the area!

I’ve passed this place a million times and finally decided to try it. I’m glad that I did! The food was really fresh and flavorful — and everything is reasonably priced!

I got the Picadillo de Soya bowl and the food was SO good and clean, it totally hit the spot. Great atmosphere and service too

My partner and I who just moved here from Miami were missing our cuban roots! Cubo was pretty good and spot on. Rice and beans were good, as well as the maduros and tostones. My only complaint was that the ropa vieja was spicy. And my cuban family has never made their RV spicy so it was definitely a first for me. The flan was accurate!
