Petite Provence Boulangerie Patisserie

I’ve had many good meals here over the years, and their pastries are some of the best! Unfortunately, came here for the usual birthday meal and was sorely disappointed. They had a surprise rush and both our food came out burnt, and not tasting great at all. I are what I could and didn’t take the rest home. It was obvious that the cook was stressed and just turned our meals up on high high heat to finish faster… This was disappointing, but on top of that, after we ordered our dishes, the server asked if we wanted croissants. Am I mistaken that in the past croissants were free with several of the dishes? (Like a side)? She upsold us croissants without alerting us that she’d charge us. When the bill came it was just too much on top of everything else. 9$ for our two croissants… please note-when you offer guests something right after they order their dishes, it seems like you are asking them to choose their side… if you offer something before they’ve ordered, it will be clear that you are offering to upsell them

1. Izabel, our server, was very inexperienced and actually forgot every single thing we asked her for and either had to ask again or just never got it cause she never came back! 2. Weren’t approached by Izabel, our server, for 10+ minutes after being seated. 3. Drinks took another 15 minutes to come out. 4. Coffee came out hot, not iced like ordered. 5. Then she finally took our food order and 30 minutes later realized she never put the order in. So an hour after being seated we just got our drinks and just now getting our food order in. 6. Asked for water refills, she forgot. We had to ask another server to get us water 10 minutes later. 7. Our food finally arrives, ask for salt and pepper, 10 minutes later I have to ask again. Terrible service, food was pretty bland, the polenta tasted like nothing. The croissant and jam was the best part of the meal. Go at your own risk, if you don’t get Izabel as your server you might have a better experience lol.

Love their fresh pasteries and deserts! Everything is rich and delish. Street parking is kind of a pain. I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and the food is good. Service is friendly and prices are resasonable.

Great meeting spot not too far from Warner Pacific University. Tables turnover quickly so the wait time is not bad.

I will happily pay the prices they ask for their good here because the quality is the best, service is great, and it's always delicious!
