Like, how do you make a chanterelle burrito that tastes like it originate is South of the Border while still being true to the fungi? Small batch, handmade salsa. Perfection. The only way you can go wrong is by eating somewhere else.
My favorite taco spot in town so far, been here for almost 2 years and haven't found a competitor. The cochinita pibil taco is absolutely God tier, and they have a lot of beer to offer. The Blanco habanero salsa is SO GOOD! Stop reading this and go eat at upside down!
This is one of the best Mexican food carts in town.
This is a strong statement and I'm aware of what I'm saying — I think this is the best burrito in town. The food is all fresh and you can tell they care about the ingredients — the salsa (especially the mole) is the best I've ever had and all made in house — and I'm not sure how they make their chips but they might as well be sprinkled with crack. Only critique — the salsa/chip ratio is too small!
The best tacos in Portland. Stop when ever I'm in the area to have the Cochinita pibil tacos. Unlike anything you will have anywhere else in town. The bar attached is the perfect addition to the atmosphere, and the service is warm and fun. Overall, one of my favorite places to eat food.
