Left feeling satisfied. I wasn’t a big fan of the vegan sausage, but the pancakes were great! Felt like I got lots for a good price.

Delicious food. Especially enjoyed the vegan sausage, but it was all fantastic. Nice ambiance in the diner, but sitting right next to Barbur Blvd is unfortunate. Good service and an overall great experience.

I’m so sad to write this review. After reading so many reviews and hearing about this place my husband and I were so excited to try. Upon arrival it was a ghost town, around 6pm on a Saturday. Which made the experience already a little off putting. We ordered the kombuchas on tap (didn’t realize they’re $6 each but whatever, that’s our mistake) but they arrived one 3/4 full and the other with half foam/half kombucha both of which were room temperature. Still excited to order, we got the French toast with a side of the tempeh bacon and the “dude cakes”. The French toast, if it could be called that, came out with a couple grapes and old strawberry pieces and missing the coconut whipped cream. Realistically it was pretty much just toasted bread with butter. I would have asked for the missing whipped cream but I didn’t think it would have improved my experience. The dude cakes and tempeh were fine, the best part of the experience for sure. Never have I sent food back at any restaurant but when our bill arrived at close to $50 for some room temp drinks, one entree worth eating, and a side, I had to say something about the French toast. Which we both only took a bite of the French toast before setting it to the side. Luckily the server took it right off our bill but still, even after that was taken off, it seemed like a pricey meal for what we ended with. Not normally one to complain about spending money at a restaurant, but it just didn’t feel worth what we ended up paying. Maybe we caught them on an off day because they came so highly recommended but we were definitely pretty disappointed in the whole experience. Hate to leave a bad review but also want to be honest about the experience.

I ate this a lot in the take out only days because the food was so good and comforting. First time eating in house and I am so impressed with our waitress. Lauren was amazing! The most communicative waitress I have had in a long time. Hard working chef knocking it out in the kitchen, just very great all around.
