Da Enrico Pizzeria Italiana

Da Enrico’s is the best restaurant in Jerez! Superb quality pizza, good value, and so I end up coming here again and again! Highly recommend.

This restaurant was showing as number 2 in the pizzeria list in Jerez, but it really didn 't live up to expectations. We had been so impressed with the friendliness of waiting and shop staff in the town and we were surprised at the ' I really wish you weren 't here ' attitude of the dour, unsmiling, young waitress. There was only one other couple in the restaurant as it was early and the waitress made no effort with any of us. I ordered the lasagne, which was well made with good quality ingredients, but sadly it hadn 't had long enough in the microwave and was cold in the middle. The waitress didn 't seem bothered and took it away without apology and it was brought back by a man who whispered what may have been an apology. My partner ordered a pizza with mushrooms ham, veg and cheese and all ingredients were laid on separate quarters so you only had one at a time. The base was thick and they don 't have a wood fired oven. We left soon after we arrived and didn 't get a thanks or goodbye. What a contrast to other restaurants and bars in Jerez.

As a change from tapas this was perfect. Simple straightforward italian food just like London 40 years ago. Great Pizza and brilliant spaghetti and CHEAP
