Ikea - Jerez de la Frontera

Been here before always good. Tried their meat balls this time buy think the lamb shoulder is better Albondigas Euro 5.50. Ensalade pollo euro 4.95. Plenty of parking and lots of other shops.

I see I was the last person to report on the IKEA Restaurant, still Excellant had a similar meal to last time it was excellent. IKEA is a bit of a sod to get out of on both floors, they shepard you through every department, good for walking off your meal. Finally do not use Ryan Air to get there, they will rip you off given half a chance if you infringe there T&C,s or do not complete something correctly. Also wrote a report on the Feria, was not that impressed, good excuse for a booze up. Not many horses there, I think it has not kept up with the times.

Same layout as Malaga, I guess every IKEA in the world is the same. I think the food is good value, well prepared and as a restaurant worth goiing too. Not every day but if you are in the area as good as anywhere. Their Lamb Hock was excellent at 7.95 Euro. Chicken salad 4.95 Euro.. Every thing was clean and whole-some which is half the battle when looking for some where to eat. Ample free parking. Plenty of other restaurants on this shopping estate. There is also a downstairs buffet selling quick snacks. Ikea do a delivery services for large items from the shop, its a bit expesive and when added onto your purchases puts the price up alarmingly, worth checking your local shops. Finally do NOT use RyanAir they are rip off artists and will charge extra on anything that contradicts their T&C's. I do not trust them if there is a problem, they will dump you.

I live quite near by and pop in pretty regularly for lunch. I just love the Swedish meatballs. However last time my friend and I had the lamb shank and he said that it was the best that he had ever tasted and he's a farmer and knows his meat. Great value and I like the fresh clean ambience.

There are two eating places in Ikea, upstairs there is a proper restaurant and downstairs a snack bar, this visit we used the snack bar which is just about OK had a pizza at E3 which filled a hole and a Fanta at E1.50. Should have just had the drink. Up stairs is a very nice competitive restaurant where you can get a proper meal. Lots of parking.
