Great service, food was extremely good and great value. Find me somewhere else on the island can do steak and a pint for under 20 quid on the island that's better than this. Nice old style boozer too. Will definitely be back
I had a wonderful lunch! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the flavors were fantastic. They offer special lunch dishes and a delicious breakfast menu on Saturdays. Highly recommend trying them out!
This is a cozy and inviting pub with friendly, helpful staff. They offer a limited but delicious selection of food that is definitely worth trying.
This fantastic old pub in the heart of St. Helier boasts a rich history. It is said that Major Francis Peirson (January 1757 – January 6, 1781), a British official in Jersey, was shot by French troops during the Battle of Jersey on January 6, 1781. This battle was one of the last to occur on British soil, and Peirson sadly died in what was then a private residence, now the pub. The pub offers excellent food at very affordable prices, and the service is exceptional. We dined outside and enjoyed our meals so much that we returned several times. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
