Busy Bee Organics - Jersey City

So glad to have this healthy cafe in my neighborhood. i really like the salads, they are always delicious and it feels so good to know i am eating organic/high quality meals/snacks. today i got the marinated kale beet salad and the french potato salad, both are great!

Overall just OK. I got a lavender latte which I couldn't drink unfortunately the lavender is way too strong, you can't even taste the espresso plus it was $10! I got a blueberry muffin which was also just okay. I like that they have a gluten free bagel pretty standard. Their vegan cream cheese is not very good (tastes like tofutti but it says it's soy free), but bonus points for having avocado as a topping option (which I got and was fresh). I might go back to try some other things but so far not super impressed.

The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with snack pouches available and a menu that likely has great options for children. For those with dietary restrictions, such as gluten avoidance, the mac and cheese (vegan or with dairy) and the lentil "meatball" sandwich are highly recommended. Probably my favorite place to eat in the heights. Super cute Cafe with breakfast, lunch, desserts, and to-go fridge items. Always smiling and so sweet, the ladies here make great gluten free, vegan, snd vegetarian options. Please try the tofu breakfast burrito. Hands down best!
