When it came time to settle the bill, we were surprised to find that we were charged $30 for the flights, even though the menu clearly stated $20. The bartenders claimed it was a happy hour price, but there was no mention of happy hour anywhere on the menu, which I pointed out to them. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being scammed. On a positive note, the drinks were generally good and quite strong, but I would advise being careful and double-checking the prices before you order. I might consider returning to try the food, but the disorganization in service for the price is a bit concerning.

Tamborim provided a wonderful experience! I visited with my girlfriend to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, and the ambiance was just right. We were looking for something intimate rather than overly fancy, and the dimly lit interior was perfect for that. The food was incredible; I don’t know much about Brazilian cuisine, but I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken stroganoff, which I think tastes more like chicken tikka masala. The risotto and steak were also outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place for a lovely date or a nice meal!

The Brazilian menu is fantastic. The espresso martini was both unique and delicious. However, I found the portion sizes to be quite small for the price, and it's worth noting that rice isn't included with all the dishes where it would typically be expected.

Pretty decent Brazilian restaurant, good service and caipirinhas. The shrimp is well cooked and tender. The octopus was served with a pretty creative cauliflower beet purée, but I wished it would be more tender. Great portions. Picanha was tasty.

There are very few places that take me somewhere else and this was one of them. I almost felt like I wasn't in JC with the music, atmosphere, and food. The food is by far amazing and I would rate 6/5 stars. My recommendation is to start the chickenbites and then go for the stroganoff with chicken (better than other Brazilian places I've tried). Caipirinhas (similar tomargs) are a good choice or the other cocktails.
