Maritime Parc - Jersey City

Food was surprisingly good all around because its usually hit or miss... salmon, bronzino, steak and chicken...apps as well, all good. Ambiance is very nice as always. I just don't understand why they cant pull the service together. The place was barely 25% full and we had to ask twice where our drinks were. We finally got them about 35 minutes after we sat down. Probably would have had more, or ordered a second bottle of wine, if we got them an an appropriate time. There was a lady sitting on the side of the kitchen the whole time we were there. We couldn't figure out why she wasn't helping on the floor. At the end of our meal she came by to ask how everything was. I assume she was the manager and if so, they need a new one because she had no idea what was going on in the place the whole time, and didn't supervise or help her staff at all.

Food was outstanding. Small portions but we’ll-developed flavors. Asked to be seated outside and were told it was closed, despite others dining outside both when we arrived and even after we finished. Server knew very little about the wine list; couldn’t make recommendations based on our food selections. Long time between check drop and pick up. Level of service absolutely did not justify the automatic 20% gratuity.

The waiter was excellent, however the hostess was not very attentive and she was not to courteous when I ask to move us to a table with a better view. I was with family members that came from overseas and they were looking forward to see the skyline of NYC from NJ

Dezember 9 2022 very disappointing. such a great intention wasted with terrible service and mediocre eating. extremely inexperienced employees without their own fault contributed to a very unsatisfactory experience. the lighting at full brightness took away from the spectacular view. we have asked several times to adjust it was finally . temperature control fails. several customers wore dumb. even if eating was good, it was and could not be enjoyed because so many other factors.

Girls at night from excellent service and eating. the tempo was on the target no hurry thru courses quiet, relaxed environment and fabulous setting for a very nice, funny evening made.
