Feedback gevenTypically, I would rate this location around 4 stars. However, today’s Shroomami order was simply inedible. I placed a pick-up order, and when I got home and opened it, it looked like someone had eaten half of the salad, then poured about half a cup of oily dressing on top, which created a greasy mess with the remaining ingredients. It went straight into the trash.
I have a completely frustrating experience every time I order from this SweetGreen, and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time. I consistently order the Fish Taco salad, but it often arrives missing key ingredients. Some days there's no fish, which is a major component, while other days there's no avocado. There are even times when it’s missing both! If you're unable to provide the main ingredients, why is this salad still on the menu? I shouldn’t have to pay the full $20 for a salad that’s missing 2-3 essential ingredients. This is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve had a terrible experience at this location 50-60% of the time I’ve ordered. I’m done with it. There are plenty of other salad options in town.
Salads are wonderful. However dining in jersey city location is not great. Music is way too loud , wait is long even if your the only one in line and bathrooms cleanliness is unacceptable.
I decided to give it a try, despite the numerous bad reviews (I know, right?…)Anyway, it was by far the poorest bowl I ever had, the portions are tiny. I ordered for pickup, when I open my bowl (just to check if my order was correct), it was half empty and I noticed that it had 5 small pieces of blackened chicken…I’m a big fan of Sweetgreen, it’s a shame that this is the unique spot that they have on the area.
I thought it was only me! Went to the JC location for the first time a few days ago as Im on a strict vegan diet. I didn’t see where to order so panned over the menu until I found what I wanted the. Stood at the register (there was no line). 7 people behind the counter and after a few minutes standing there, I’m ready to order. The said you start over here. (A simple greeting upon entry or even signage of where to start would’ve helped) the girl up next to dash my salad into the bowl… the portion was so small I said, can I have more lettuce please? She clearly seemed annoyed. I didn’t care, I was paying for it. Salad was great! (Made to order my way)Second order, online via their website. Terrible! 45 minutes before close and the confirmation gave me a pickup time of next day at 10:30AM. 13 hour lead time to make a salad?! And Umm if I wanted Salad for breakfast, I would’ve ordered it in the morning. The online chat bot is clueless. Continued to cycle to wait 24 hours for a response. No live person via phone, email or text until Monday afternoon to rectify and give me a refund.Definitely some huge issues internally.Moral of the story, if you care to, order in store only and ask for more lettuce and toppings.
