The Brumby Bistro - Jindabyne

I have visited the Brumby for the third time this weekend, a restaurant I always make sure to stop by when heading out for a snowy weekend. Each time I come back, they seem to be getting better and better! The menu offers a variety of options and the kitchen staff really knows what they're doing. I noticed a note on the menu stating that they do not allow changes to the meals, which I really appreciate. This policy helps ensure quicker service for all customers and allows them to perfect the flavors every time. I am not a fan of people who constantly request changes to their meals - this is a bar, not a butler service! I will definitely be returning for years to come.

**** good mix platter, definitely more than enough serving for one person. Mushroom sauce was a beauty and the baked potatos were a winner.<br/ <br/ Service was good and friendly staff. Owned by family who were attentive to the locals but also the new folks. Awesome work guys!

Nothing to complain about. On a recent weekend in Jindy with my bestie, we wandered in here for dinner on a Friday night. Firstly it was a lovely atmosphere and we scored a table near the wood fire bonus on a cold September night. The menu is pretty standard pub fare with a few specials available. I was being a bit boring and ended up with my go to pub meal of a schnitzel, chips and gravy and this was good. Nothing to write home about but then schnitzel rarely is, it's just a yummy standard. My bestie ordered the pork belly and really enjoyed it although it was a huge meal with three enormous slabs of pork belly and a large mound of mash beneath it I snagged a bite and the flavours were delicious. But it was all a bit too much and probably a little too rich by the end of it. Still a great meal for a hearty appetite and you certainly couldn't complain about the cost.<br/ <br/ The place was pretty full and there was a DJ starting up around 9.30pm as we left definately recommend if you are after a decent pub meal.

Great steaks and salad, good for after ski. One of the few good places open all year round in Jindabye

This restaurant is fantastic for eating and drinking! We visited three nights in a row and had a great time thanks to Chris, the bearded bartender, and the delicious food. I highly recommend this place.
