Mcpuffin's Atlantic Seafood - JOGGINS

I wouldn’t recommend eating here! I had the worst meal of my life. This place should be shut down by health inspectors. They served us a dirty fork and napkin that looked like it was stained by coffee. When I asked for water, there were floating white particles everywhere, making it undrinkable. The fries were decent, but the fish was a mess. The chicken burger seemed undercooked and had a strange taste, like it was prepared alongside the fish—which definitely didn’t taste like chicken. It’s concerning how unsafe the cross-contamination is here. Also, her garlic bread was literally just buttered toast.

Awesome little seafood restaurant! I tried the fish sandwich with fries and mussels, and I loved every bite! The prices were great as well!

Today, we visited McPuffins and the food was outstanding. My husband ordered the McPuffin Burger with fries, while I had the 2-piece fish and chips. Wow, it was incredible! We come from the east coast of Nova Scotia and we really know fresh fish. The batter on the fish was light, not greasy, and the fish was cooked to perfection. His burger was also fantastic. The fries are likely some of the best hand-cut fries I've ever had—crispy, light, and simply delicious. The service was excellent too. Don’t let the two or three negative reviews deter you; some people just like to complain. This place is the best!

What a fabulous hidden gem to enjoy a meal with your family. The food was phenomenal, my daughter had the seafood fattyuccini and it was the most delicious fetters I had, she inhaled it! My stepson had the crispy chicken burger and husband had the squid, they enjoyed these dishes very much! So fresh! I had the tormented salad and the vegetables were so crisp and freshly paired with a delicious dressing. Highly Highly recommend!

What a fantastic gem of a restaurant to stop at on the way to Joggins. We were able to have a delicious meal there and get a history tour from the owner Greg. It's amazing how quickly he was able to make 5 meals and serve us while also telling us stories about the area. Looking forward to stopping by at the next visit again.
