La Vie En Rose - Johannesburg

I visited an early part there. what a great place! the breakfast was delicious and although there were some people in the participation, it was perfect to eat! amazing staff and beautiful place. also spots outside on the beautiful razing under the trees.

The service is superb. The servers are attentive so there are no missed order notes. The food is also delicious and the portions are filling. I have attached a photo of a pasta dish, 'Old Country Road '. It 's good but I would not recommend if you do not like tomatoes as it is tomato based. 4.5 stars

The venue has outdoor seating and is calm and relaxing. I had the pink salmon with roasted potatoes and ricotta cheese salad. The salmon was prepared well but felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. For dessert I had the Decadent Nutella waffle. The waffle was amazing and came with a strawberry cheese cake ice cream. Just wished there was a bit more of the ice cream but overall a good dessert.

A great place to have an event held. The shakshuka is delicious (highly recommended) and the service is efficient and friendly.

I went to La Vie en Rose for a bridal shower, and although there was a set menu, there were no problems catering for people's individual needs. The only issue was that someone who only eats kosher was served an omelette with bacon. Thankfully, the waitress gladly took the omelette back and the lady was served a kosher alternative. Other than that, this is a lovely restaurant to host events!
