Braised In The South - Johns Island

Always a good experience at Braised in the South. Good BBQ, nice service and a fun outdoor patio.

Went to the brick and mortar location for a take out dinner. They have a cute set up there and the lady at the window was friendly. They gave us a buzzer to know when our order was ready so we could chill in their picnic area while waiting.The food was well packaged, and delicious! I got the pork Mac and cheese. My husband got the fried chicken platter and it is SO MUCH FOOD! Highly recommend. Might have to go back myself before the end of our trip!

Loved it! Nice atmosphere, well seasoned food that is really good! I got the fried chicken sandwich and side salad and it’s all really good!

Wife and I stopped by while visiting Charleston. Food was excellent. I had some of the best collard greens ever. Service was quick. The outside eating area in nice also. We are from RI but came looking for them because we saw them on the great food truck race some years back.

My husband disliked the beans but liked his pulled-pork sandwich. I like their food. I wish they were open on weekends.
