The Southern General - Johns Island

OMG!! I wish I had come here sooner but we are leaving tomorrow. This place is a MUST VISIT!! Came here with my wife and one of my sons. We started with the Sweet Tea Wings and Cheese Curds. Wow! The light breading on the curds was perfection andthey were so delicious! The Sweet Tea wings were absolutely fabulous! Such a fantastic dry rub that needed nothing more butdip them into the house made ranch and they were to die for! Shoot me now cuz I could stop there!! For the meal we had aCubano, the Southern Pot Roast and the Cheese Steak sandwiches. They were all superb! They were so good we all had to share!Lol. Thank God we are family! Seriously, come here hungry and you?ll leave here filled up and more than satisfied! We finishedoff with the Black and Tan Brownie and a chocolate shake. So so good!! Oh by the way, the service was great as well! Theserver was super friendly and the food came out fast and piping hot!

Where have you been all my life?! ???? Amazing sweet tea wings. Pork Chops with ?good gravy.? No kidding delicious! Prime Rib night was a hit as well. You?ve got to try the cucumber salad; so fresh, crispy and pow. Leftovers for days the only picturesI took. ??

Was decent, I know the times we are, but the 20% charge added to my salat was a bit much. the dressing was amazing. that was decent.

First Time Eating there, Great and Tasty Food! Sesame Shrimp Sandwich with Cucumber Salad was a very delicious combination! Service was excellent, definitely recommend!

This is a small place, but they have big ideas about food! Always try the special if there is one, but if there isn't one, don't worry because all of their sandwiches are creative and delicious. One of my favorite places on Johns Island to grab a bite. Heck, today I drove 25 minutes for it!
