Flame The Taqueria - Johnston

This is a small and unassuming restaurant, but the food is definitely worth sampling. The waitstaff pays impressive attention to detail when it comes to service. For instance, when I intended to simply throw my guacamole in the same container as my entrée, they provided a variety of take-out containers instead.

I stepped into this cozy little spot and left feeling full and satisfied. The flame fries are delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the dipping sauce is fantastic. The chips have the same seasoning and are served warm and tasty. The birria burrito with birria sauce is absolutely amazing, and the Lola burrito is incredible. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

The best Mexican food in town. Birria tacos are the best I’ve had. I order them at least 3x a week. Sometimes more.

We absolutely love Flame the server is very friendly and the food is always good. The restaurant isn't very large so probably not suitable for large groups, but we love the quaintness. While the menu it much smaller than a traditional Mexican restaurant, everything on their menu is awesome and they have some of the best tacos around. They have a couple locations with variations in menus but we like this one the best. Highly recommend for a casual dinner. :
