I am not a mee hoon guai fan but my wife is and she think this is still the stall that defines how MHG should be made (I leave that to expert). Personally, I think the quality has been consistent over the years (if not decades). Appreciate the fact that rain or shine, when we come, we can always expect that hot bowl of tasty clear soup with home made noodle inside. It is one of our “must eat” when we come JB. Oh! A pleasant surprise this visit to find their porridge also quite nice!
One of my favorite places to eat mee hoon kueh in JB! I came here once or twice a week! (too bad now my work is mainly in Bukit Indah area, rarely go Pelangi as I used to) Absolut lovin her soup mee gia (din Nudel mee hoon kueh) One of the most important things is ADD MEAT BALL, MEAT SLICE!, AND ANCHOVIES!!! Definitely worth your time and penny! To the shop!
Mee Hoon Kueh is a kind of noodle food produced by kneading the dough, then broken into pieces and cooked with broth. This is an old-fashioned restaurant Mee Hoon Kueh in Johor Bahru. Their condiments are traditional and simple, only Sayur Manis, anchovy and minced meat. Her minced meat is marinated and tasteful. After cooking it is very smooth and elastic in the mouth. With the chili sauce provided by the restaurant, it is really delicious. The restaurant is worth trying.
Reach here a little earlier at 11:00 to have Brunch. You have to beat the lunch, otherwise you have to wait for places. The second time here. Always a good hearty and delicious meal here. Really love their dry MHK and Youmian. Make sure to add their ikan billis. In any case, increase the Umami of the total shell. Her meat soup is good. Portion is large amount of meatballs, meat slices and Manni Veggie. Very price and good for sharing.
