L'escargot de Sab - Joigny

Good homestyle food of the region prepared by Sabina and served by her husband Luigi, who was so friendly and outgoing. He is music-mad and played blues harmonica and drums for us inbetween courses. Just a delightful place. We ate here twice and really enjoyed the casual, fun atmosphere and the food.

We had a delicious meal in this fun restaurant, ideally located near the river. The walls and ceilings covered in rock memorabilia, cd covers, posters and more keep you very busy. The owner came out to ask if everyone was having a good time and the response was a unanimous YES

Visited last time we were in the area and it was a real experience, with rock band-themes tables and walls!The husband and wife team were very friendly and hospitable - they even gave us supermarket trolley token key-rings as souvenirs!Food was honest and inexpensive. We're going to be in the area again next week and will definitely be visiting again.

I had the pleasure of having lunch with a friend. As soon as we arrive we were made welcome. There was a good selection on the menu and daily specials. The food was cooked spot on, tasty and hot. We had a very friendly and efficient service. I loved the record/cd collection which is everywhere. I'm going to go back when there is a live gig on, I bet the place rocks

We were recommended this place by a lady in the port office. Went with two very musical teenagers who thought the owner was awesome! He played great music and his wife served great, no frills food. Excellent value and entertainment!
