Thirty Buck - Joliet

This bar is better to visit during the day. I came here with the intention of checking out more bars in the Joliet area at night, but they were closing at 10 pm even though they are supposed to be open until 2 am. The bartender was not very welcoming, so I probably won't be returning.

Natalie impresses her customers with exceptional service. This is the most enjoyable spot in Joliet with the coldest beer around. Eroc Beltzhoover is a master at running the bar, while Dirk excels at addressing any minor issues. This tavern is unmatched. Kelly, Kano, Lenny, and Archie ensure a lively atmosphere with plenty of laughs. Pay a visit - I did and might never want to leave.

This restaurant is a small, dingy bar filled with older patrons listening to outdated music. The bartender was rude when I visited and seemed to only be friendly with the regular customers. The beer selection was limited and the TV looked incredibly old. Despite driving by this place in Joliet many times, I only decided to give it a chance recently. My initial instincts were confirmed when I finally went inside - it was indeed a disappointing dive.

Laid back atmosphere with a mixture of all age groups. If you're looking for a nightclub atmosphere, go elsewhere! This is more of a corner bar atmosphere with super friendly bartenders/patrons.

Some friends for the Cubs Opening Day game on one of several TV screens. I ordered half a burger from Thayer Brothers who's next door. It was perfectly prepared with frits and some delicious chicken noodles soup. I was in the mood for a beer on tap and was said they had not on tap for over two years due to the pandemic. I hope they get this situation fixed when I go back.
