The Southern Chef - Jonesboro

The plate lunch was great. And you would spend just as much at a fast food place. Good food .good price for real food!!!

I got the Red Wolf salad without onions and olives. The salad was huge (enough for two people) and fresh. Everyone was friendly and went beyond to make me please with my first experience there. The Southern Chef will be my go to place for salads at lunch during the weekday.

Alright now. As a native of Hawaii moving to Arkansas, this place is pretty damn close with their Caribbean jerk and Adobo flavors for their chicken wings. Now I know what spot to hit if I'm ever missing home. It's so good that my husband knows where to go if I ever say I want some chicken or I'm home sick

Had the plate lunch with chicken fried steak, black eyed peas and mashed potatoes. Very good food and value!

Tried out this place tonight. We LOVE it. Really cool building. Reminds me of what one might have found on Route 66 in its heyday, only modern. REAL potatoes as fries, and totally in love with the Boom Boom Chicken Bacon Sub! Hubster had the country fried steak, and what he said tasted like fresh from the garden black eyed peas and real mashed potatoes. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu!!!
