Comfort Inn - Jonesville

Second time we stop here, because it's clean and homey. Great value for price. I am picky when I walk into a room and the first impression usually is a musty mildewy odor...NOT HERE. Staff is super friendly, and they have decked out the lobby to look more like a B&B than a chain hotel. My husband was all set when he found out they had cookies at check in tonight. It's not brand new, but it is well kept. It could use a little tlc, with paint and paper, but we're happier with clean and well tended than pristine new and smelly! I expect we'll stop again, when travels and time put us in this area.

Go to the Best Western across the interstate, save you the hassle. Place is just awful.

Eeeewwwwww! The rooms are disgusting. The bathroom was particularly scary. Dirty, run down, dirty, and dirty. It's the kind of place that makes you want to take a shower...someplace else. The bathtub was filthy. Keep driving. Anyplace is better than this. I'm giving it 2 stars because I didn't see any bugs.

Room was very large . Very Clean . Had no problems whatsoever. Check in staff was very friendly . Beds were very comfortable. I can see where people say this place look's dated but, overall i don't think this place is as bad as the reviews make them out to be. Morning breakfast simple and sufficient.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 3 decades, but sadly, my recent visit will be my last. This place has become blighted and run down. In my room, during the night there were noises, like creaking noises, possibly from the fridge, or maybe the ventilator unit. The pool area had no towels, and the pool water looked sort of greenish. The breakfast buffet is nothing like it used to be, mostly pre-packaged items. Worst of all, I had some rude, inconsiderate neighbors in the next room. They started making a lot of noise at 3 AM. Then, at 3:30, the woman set herself down on the sidewalk outside my room, and started having a loud, profanity-filled argument with somebody on her cell phone. I tried calling the front desk to see if they could have a security guard do a walk-by, but there was no answer. I'm not even sure if this hotel even has security guards, as I don't remember ever seeing one. The room charge for one night was $145, which I thought was absolutely outrageous. There are better values elsewhere.
