De La Seugne - Jonzac

It was Sunday for lunch.The restaurant was very busy with locals. The food is honest decent food.Service was good considering how crowded it was.

Malheureusement, la carte propose un menu à 22 ou 26 euros.... mais 9 plats sur 10 affichent également un supplément de 3 à 7 euros selon le plat choisi !!! Avec autant de choix sur la carte, nous avons eu des doutes sur la fraîcheur des plats et avons été déçus par le manque de saveur.... en gros, ce n'était pas mauvais mais moyen compte tenu du prix !

We were in Jonzac to eat with family but this restaurant was the only one open on Monday (it's open The menu was varied and excellent and the food was very good and well presented. A tastefully decorated establishment with a large, terrace for...the right weather. The staff are efficient, courteous and well presented. We had a two year old in the party and she was looked after very well. I use it often now.

The hotel and restaurant are hidden behind a dull facade in the center of Jonzac but having lunch on the terrace was very pleasant. The staff were helpful and the service was very good. The food was very tasty and well presented and the puddings...delicious!
