Iron Skillet - Joplin

This is an excellent small diner with quick service and a friendly staff. The Philly cheese omelette was fantastic, and it’s a pleasure to see a chef who can prepare well-made, twice-roasted hash that rivals what you’d find in the park. The buttermilk pancakes were also delicious. Kudos to the chef!

After just a few bites, I knew I had found something special! The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. I'm thrilled to add this place to my list of new favorites along my route.

We had a party of 8. We all had a decent breakfast here. It was pricey for truck stop food. There was something on the menu that everyone wanted. The steak was a little over cooked but everyone else's food was perfectly cooked. We had quick and attentive service.

I came to this restaurant because of 5 star rating. That was a joke. Food was barely warm, mashed potatoes like glue. Country fried steak was hard not freshly cooked. The Sunday chef was off his or her game today The gravy was good and if it was hot, it would've been great. Green beans were burnt and not edible. Wait staff was great. Don't think I'll come on Sunday to eat here again.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, thanks to the friendly service and delicious food. The generous portion sizes were so large that I was able to have three meals from just one dinner! It has a charming, hometown diner atmosphere. My 1-year-old son even had a wonderful interaction with the waitress. We truly enjoyed our visit!
