Bistrô Quatro Estações

Here is my first disappointment in Brazil. Obviously I chose the place based on the average star rating on maps, the location and the opening hours of the kitchen. An average of over 4 stars in my opinion is not deserved given the quality of the food served and above all the waiting times. We immediately noticed, being a bistro inside a 5-star hotel, that the prices were obviously above average, but that's okay if your appetite is satisfied, so we order a shrimp and onion risotto, and some chicken medallions . Let's start with the risotto: overcooked, with hard prawns, and creamed with something too strong that covered all the flavours, probably a cheese. As an Italian I didn't expect a risotto like my mother's, but at least something decent and compared to its price (around 55 reais if I'm not mistaken). Chicken medallions: we know that chicken is not the juiciest meat in the world, but rather than serving it dry it is better not to serve it. Dish served with a sort of seasoned risotto, also overcooked, and raw salad with tomatoes (the best part of the dish). Both well plated, but it's a shame that in these cases not only the eye wants its part. Ultimately, 2 poorly made dishes that are absolutely not worth the price at which they are offered, and which, the icing on the cake, were served to us with a 40 minute wait. So, for me the food is 2 stars, the service 3 considering the waiting times. At least the dining room staff was smiling and friendly. Beautiful and well-kept environment. Food is good. Service is ok. Below america average. They mess up every order we asked. They don’t seem to use their pen and pad. They want to memorize your order.
